Give yourself a self compassion break.
Be kind to yourself. Harsh self criticism is debilitating and can lead to depression. Beating yourself up all the time can lead to overwhelm and makes a difficult situation even more difficult.
Negative self talk is not effective – it doesn’t make you feel better and it doesn’t change the situation. Silence your inner critic and give yourself compassion. Treat yourself the way you would like to treat others.. This is be kind to yourself motivation. I talk about how to end negative self talk and self criticism. It doesn’t help. Lets talk about how to give yourself self compassion.
