Change your thinking about social isolation
It’s time for a mindshift. You have to change your thinking about social isolation. We have talked about types of mindset before – fixed and growth mindsets. A growth mindset will serve you now. Isolation sounds like a punishment and induces fear. Change your language to help you change your mindset and create a mindshift. Choose to think differently about staying home. The first step is to change the language and then use breathing techniques to help you to manage anxiety and stay calm. That will help you to be more creative about using your time at home seeing it not as a punishment or endurance but as an opportunity to develop and grow.
