Update: Charlotte
Just wanted to update you on what is happening with Charlotte. Many of you to email and ask about her and I am so grateful to you. Thank you so much for your continued support. It took a long time for Charlotte to be finally diagnosed with T cell Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. It used to be called Hodgkin’s disease after the chap who first recognized it. it is cancer of the lymphatic system. Hodgkins and non hodgkins lymphoma are two different diseases treated in different ways. There are also different types of non hodgkin’s lymphoma. Charlotte’s is know as T cell lymphoma. She has been treated with chemotherapy and other drugs and the next part of her treatment will, hopefully, be a stem cell transplant which involves very high dose chemotherapy. We are fortunate that Charlotte is being treated at what is reputed to be one of, if not the best cancer hospital in Europe .
