Fasting is very popular in the health and fitness industry. But it isn’t new. Human beings have always fasted. Think about our ancestors who had to hunt for food. Some days they would hunt and eat their catch other days they wouldn’t catch anything. It is natural to go for periods without eating. Intermittent fasting is the term given now to go for prolonged periods of eating and not eating. There are proven health benefits to intermittent fasting. There are also proven results for intermittent fasting weight loss. In this video I talk about the Time restricted eating method or the 16:8 diet. Which is basically a 16 hour fast each day. A more gentle form of intermittent fasting. Time restricted eating for health and fitness is a sustainable way of eating less. Eat, fast and live longer.
